Avanade Solutions Developer interview questions

First round was a phone interview with an HR person. He just asked about courses I am taking and my GPA so far. He explained about the position (travelling, training, etc.). He also asked about my salary expectation. I did not state any expectation so he basically told me what the salary range will be. I am not sure if should have negotiated a bit. At the end, he said he will schedule the second round interview soon. The next week I had the second interview with a director (on phone). He did not ask me technical questions. Most of the questions were behavioral or related to my past experience on the resume. It was really casual. I think there is suppose to be a third round as well but I have not been contacted by the HR yet.

The interview process consisted of 3 interviews. First with a college recruiter - which was mainly to make sure you were who you said you were, to give you an overview of Ananade and to make sure you were ok with 80% travel. Second was technical. This is very important! Before this interview I had an interview with microsoft which I tanked. After that I lost a lot of confidence with technical interviews. I even cancelled one with Amazon. Pay very close attention to the questions here on glassdoor, pretty much all of them were asked in my technical interview. Had I not stumbled upon this website hours before my interview I wouldn't have gotten an offer. Anyone who has a bachelors in CS will be familiar with the questions, but if you haven't brushed up in a while you will probably be caught off guard. The third interview was behavorial. My interviewer had to end the session early because he had a client meeting. I wasn't asked any technical questions. It consisted mostly of him asking about my professional history and learning who I was as a person. I wouldn't be surprised if technical questions being asked depends on the interviewer. I happened to get lucky with someone very easy going and busy that day. Very casual and unusually comfortable for an interview.
