I applied online. I interviewed at BDO (Oak Brook, IL)
Interview
First round was a phone interview that just asked basic questions about stuff on my resume. I heard back about getting an interview for the second round pretty quickly. For the second round I went to their office and interviewed with the supervising manager for the position and then with the head of HR. They asked similar questions about things on my resume, to talk about the work that I had previously done, and what I hoped to gain from the experience.
I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at BDO (McLean, VA) in Oct 2015
Interview
I did an interview through on campus recruiting with a partner. It was a very relaxed interview. I was invited to an office visit, where they had a panel with associates to answer any of our questions. Then, we were each interviewed by 3 people (manager, senior manager, and partner). They were all very easygoing and conversational interviews, and everyone was extremely friendly during the process.

Interview
I applied through my college and got invited for an interview at the firm. I interviewed with 3 different staff and managers. Everyone was extremely kind and easy to talk to. They just wanted to get to know me and find out more about my personality than anything. The interview was more back and forth conversation, not drilling me with technical questions. If you have a good gpa, it won't be hard to get an internship. Just be yourself, know what you want and ask questions.
