Interview
The process was,
1.Online application - worth investing some time into your answers.
2. Online tests - Standard numerical and verbal tests.
3. Competency based interview - Started off with some CV based questions, why this degree/work experience etc, then to the competency based questions. Look into their competencies and organise your answers accordingly. Finally why BDO, Why not the big 4, and why Audit/ACA.
4. Assessment Centre - Intray - Expect them to overload you with information.
Group Exercise - The case study was alright, you get 10 options and you have to choose 4 out of them. Discuss the pros n cons of the options. Know BDO's services.
Presentation - Depends how you want to handle it, I put some time into it researched my organisation/industry well and related it to BDOs services.
Partner interview - more informal that the first.
The interview lasted about an hour and included a mix of motivational and job simulation questions. They asked about my skills, previous experiences, and specifically why I chose BDO instead of the Big 4 firms.
The interview process at BDO typically includes an online application, assessment tests, one or more interviews (often behavioral and technical), and may involve case studies or situational exercises to evaluate problem-solving skills.
It was an easy and smooth interview process with friendly interviewer who was knowledgeable. The assessment centre was also a good experience and all the rounds were very clearly explained to us and the group discussion topics were also interesting.
