overall quite easy, AC was finished within a day, consisting of 1 group + 2* 1 v 1 interviews. HR could be more efficient. Heard of stories of them ghosting candidates.
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at BNP Paribas
Interview
A series of phone / Skype interviews with relevant team members, mostly fit questions and a couple of basic probability questions and current events. Had 2 phone screens. Instead of a super day I went through many phone interviews with about 3 additional members of the team I was interviewing for.
I applied through other source. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at BNP Paribas (New York, NY)
Interview
If you passed the resume screening, you were interviewed over the phone by one to two members of the team. Most of the question focused on soft skills and personality questions. After that I was invited to a super day (which also had a heavy soft skill focus with 1-2 technical questions).
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Can you talk about a current event in the financial markets you have a personal interest in. What is your opinion?
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at BNP Paribas (London, England)
Interview
Application screening then psychometric tests and behavioural tests followed by Hirevue and telephone interview. Successful candidates are then progressed to Assessment Centre after which offers are given out. Hirevue was relatively easy with generic questions such as why BNP, why div, what do you hope to learn.
