I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at BNP Paribas
Interview
Excellent communication. Fully knowledged interviewers. Questions were based on each and every module separately. SQL queries related questions as well. Bit of knowledge sharing as well. In-depth questions on application.

Question 1
All questions related to application. Questions were in-depth. Need to know each and every bit of it to answer.
The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at BNP Paribas (Denver, CO)
Interview
Took a phone screening from HR, received an interview pretty quickly. By the end of the week I was told I was a finalist. I received a verbal offer early the next week only to have it pulled within a day because “a senior stakeholder declined to authorize it.” Hilariously incompetent and unprofessional hiring process- Why give verbal offers if they’re not authorized? I would be livid if I had put in my two weeks, but it is unsurprising to see such a lack of ethics in the finance industry. Just more of the guys up top throwing their weight around to suit their own ego.
I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at BNP Paribas (London, England) in Feb 2018
Interview
I believe the application process consists of 1) Online application (CV, grades, extracurriculars), 2) Online Tests, 3) Video Interview? 4) Assessment Centre. For some reason I only submitted an online application in October then got invited to an assessment centre without any tests or other Interviews.
The Assessment Centre consistent of:
1) A 10 minute maths test - quite intense, you cant really prepare for this
2) A group sales exercise - You are given some information then asked to discuss then present an investment recommendation to a client. You are observed the whole way through, particularly how you discuss amongst each other.
3) Group trading game
4) 15 minute interview - Very casual, just questions about CV experience
Overall, a very easygoing experience in comparison to other ACs.
