I applied through other source. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at BNP Paribas (Mumbai) in Sep 2017
Interview
The head of the department reached out on Linkedin for a suitable opening in the Risk team which he will be newly forming in Mumbai India.
No level/JD was shared with me while i had already shared my updated resume with the team. However was assured that i am the right candidate and the HR will call you soon etc etc.
After September, the head was in Mumbai and took a face to face round, post giving a feedback he confirmed that we will take this ahead and look forward to you etc.
There was a long silence from October to December last week, where i was informed that i will need to see a VP at the office for a final round of discussions.
I see her and the discussion went on for 2 hours almost and then i dont hear from both the VP and Head on the next actions.
All of a sudden one night i get a call and the head informs that we cannot go ahead with the offer as your experience levels are less than what the roles requires.
After waiting for 4 months without actively looking at any other job and hearing this kind of feedback was so unprofessional and not expected from a company brand like BNP Paribas.
