I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at BNP Paribas (Mumbai) in Sep 2015
Interview
Interview was scheduled by the agency, process took full day.
1.Technical objective Test
2.Personal tech interview
3.JUNIT technical test
4.Technical interview with senior person
5.Managerial round with Hiring manager
6.HR - 2 rounds
HR discussion ended that she will send me email asking for all the necessary documents.
NO UPDATES till a week, on contacting agency they told that BNP found me technically strong but not suitable for the project being interviewed. Wow, after 6 rounds happy realisation.
Agency asked me to give 3 more rounds for another project within BNP. I disagreed with them, and asked to justify what they mean by "not suitable" after clearing all the rounds? They didn't bother to answer.
This thing has become habbit of the BNP to keep on taking interviews of the candidates for different projects, as this happened to third time. My request to BNP, do not ever contact me for any openings, I AM NOT INTERESTED.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at BNP Paribas (Hongkong) in May 2013
Interview
phone interview with non technical questions. The experience was pleasant managers made me feel at ease and wanted to make sure i had good analytical skills and excel proficiency.Other questions were related to my williNgness to learn new technical skills and be a good multi tasker. Overall pretty easy and did not last too long. It really depends on deparments i guess. it was for along term internship. overall experience was magical.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at BNP Paribas (Peking, Peking) in Sep 2014
Interview
I heard that they got the best Fixed Income Team so the candidates shortlisted for interview all had strong academic and professional background. It had been really a battle to get into this team, the guy interviewed me is really handsome.
The CV selection is really strict, so they will ask you a lot of questions on CV. Then it comes to your knowledge and background, some questions about theories and your view concerning bond market.
