I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Bain & Company (London, England) in Mar 2016
Interview
I feel that the company HR department is rather arrogant and they already have an idea of who they want to join the firm. It was a rather crude process and makes you question why one would apply to such a firm in the first place when there are 1000's of other global firms out there with a much more professional approach to interviewing, greater employee benefits, better international prospects and positive working environment.
I have been a consultant for over 6/7 years across EMEA and the US. Of-course, I'm highly decorated in the educational space (BSc, MSc, MBA), and have always had a positive interview experience with companies across the board. However, Bain's process was rather crude and I'm not so sure why.
Anyhow, I wish all those interviewing a good experience and remain positive no matter what the outcome.

I interviewed at Bain & Company (Gurgaon, Haryana)
Interview
It was like having a good conversation. The interviewer wanted to know about my work, asked me two guesstimates in detail and many questions about my projects and other work experiences
I applied online. I interviewed at Bain & Company (München, Bayern)
Interview
The process is structured and efficient, consisting of multiple rounds including HR screening, case interviews, and final discussions with senior leadership. Interviewers are professional but distant. The focus is heavily on performance and fit, with limited insight into leadership expectations. Overall, a well-organized but somewhat impersonal experience
