I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Bain & Company (Boston, MA) in Nov 2016
Interview
I was invited to a first round interview on campus: there were two 45 minute interviewer led cases with recruiters, with no behavioral questions.
I moved on to the final round interview at their office: here there were three 45 minute interviewee led cases with recruiters plus behavioral questions. The cases weren't conventional, they were much more open ended
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
There was a market sizing question, a purchasing question, and a profitability question.
i had an interview with Bain after completing my online assessment. They gave me 4 days to prepare for the two case and 1 behavioral interviews in the first round. Is this normal?
Typical consulting cases with 5 minutes of behavioral in the beginning. Two separate interviewers for the first round; math questions were not hard and mostly focused on market sizing. Good luck!
case studies and guesstimates followed up by resume questions. first it started with an aptitude test which was hard and then the short listing for interviews. we had 2 interviews per person
