I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Bain & Company (Atlanta, GA) in Oct 2017
Interview
Two rounds of interviews; I did not do campus interviews so my first round consisted of two phone case interviews back to back 30 minutes each. One interviewer was a consultant and the other a senior associate consultant. The second round I was flown to their office and had two 40 minute interviews with partners. These consisted of a case with the remaining time left for behavioral questions, about 20-30 for case 10-20 for behavioral is how mine ended up.
I applied online early September (shot in the dark, amazing I know - there is hope!) received first round interview at the end of September, interviewed on a Friday, received a second (final) round offer Monday scheduled for a week later (Monday) - was given very short turnaround (told Thursday night I was interviewing Monday morning). Was told the following Monday (one week) of my decision but I know others who received a rejection the Thursday before (3 days after final round).
Overall, really great experience.
Tip:
If you are in the military reserves don't mention it or put it on your resume - I believe they work weekends which would quickly weed you out despite being illegal.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
1. Why not (insert career related to major here) - my major is finance so they asked why not investment banking.
2. Are you interviewing anywhere else
A couple of questions based on things on my resume
2 cases for R1. Pretty straightforward cases about revenue optimization opportunities. There was a little bit of market sizing but all data needed was given. No behaviorals asked in round 1 for me.

2 rounds, 1st round 2 small cases, not very difficult , market entry cases.

Three rounds of interviews, generally 2 rounds in person or remote with live consultants. Each round involves a 2-3 case interviews each, which generally also include a set of behavioural questions.
