Interview
Attended the company presentation event, where I got to know the Bain consultants over a casual dinner. All of them were really friendly and open to answer every possible question I had. These enjoyable interactions convinced me to apply online. I then scheduled a first round of interviews around six weeks later.

Question 1
It is important to maintain a clear overview of the key points of the issue in the case, and how every new piece of information you get from the interviewer affects each of these. This will allow you to give a precise and structured recommendation in the end.
Three rounds of interviews, generally 2 rounds in person or remote with live consultants. Each round involves a 2-3 case interviews each, which generally also include a set of behavioural questions.
Drei Interviewrunden, je ein Interviewer: zwei englischsprachige Case Studies (Interviewer-geführt, strukturiert) sowie Personal Fit mit situativen Fragen ohne CV-Bezug - keine Angaben zu Praktika oder Uni gefragt. Stattdessen Reaktionsfragen à la „Wie würdest du in Situation XYZ reagieren?". Mit solider Vorbereitung nichts Unerwartetes. Alle Interviewer sehr freundlich und aufgeschlossen — angenehme, entspannte Atmosphäre throughout.

All interviews feel very relaxed, but they still expect you to move through the case fast and in a structured way.
