It was hard. Quite hard and unlike the prep I’d done. I was in for a rude awakening and unprepared for what came next. Very math heavy and complex. Make sure you know case structures inside and out.
3 case interviews with partners, virtual .. .pretty standard stuff, nothing too surprising, focused on private equity buy/no buy decision and market sizing. Very standard case, nothing too special about it. Had to network my way in given this was for a full time role during a time when they weren't really recruiting for full time roles.
I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Bain & Company (Gurgaon, Haryana) in Mar 2023
