Interview
Applied via career website, got the interview 2 weeks later with 10 days to prep. Did about 20 cases, read a lot, but this was not nearly enough. First round was two cases, first one was fine with a friendly associate. The second was a case at least 3 times harder than anything you might see in case workbooks or case in point - had to quickly dissect a convoluted graph to then calculate break even and ROI with one other piece of information the interviewer provided verbally, all while the interviewer furiously took notes on everything I said and did. Impossible unless you've prepped substantially via consulting clubs, coaches, etc.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Bain & Company (München, Bayern) in Mar 2016
