My experience interviewing with BairesDev was frustrating and unprofessional. Throughout the process, communication was inconsistent, and recruiters often gave vague, conflicting, or misleading information. It felt like I was being dragged along without clear next steps or transparency.
Despite multiple conversations and promises of updates, getting straightforward answers was nearly impossible. Timelines shifted without explanation, and key details about the role remained unclear even after several rounds of interviews. The overall process felt disorganized and disingenuous, wasting valuable time and creating unnecessary confusion.
Professionalism, honesty, and respect for candidates' time are basic expectations during any hiring process. Unfortunately, BairesDev fell short on all counts.

Interview
Chief of Staff reached out via LinkedIn, scheduled an interview, had an interview with a recruiter where they asked basic questions and toward the end there was a skills test. The skill test seemed odd and typically not part of the initial interview. Right after, they wanted me to invest 2.5 hours with other skills test. I expressed I will do this over the weekend. However, I noticed in their portal that my status said "Process Closed - Not Selected for this position" from the moment I had that initial interview. They wanted me to invest in their tests even though I was not selected. I email the recruiter as I was not going to invest time on these tests since I saw that message. I was ghosted and later received the rejection email from the recruiter, without any response to my emails.
Long story short, be aware of this, they might just have ghost jobs and have people take their time-consuming tests.

The interview process was thoughtful, intentional, and unlike any I’ve experienced. From the initial assessments to the live conversation, it felt both warm and authentic.
