Interview
BairesDev has a very systematic selection process, starting off internally with a lot of technical and soft skills tests, along with interviews with their team. There is quite a lot of tests which can be intimidating at first, but I took my time and after about a month I received their internal approval. Past that, the recruiter then tries to allocate you in a project. This can also take a while depending on the market and your own skills. For me, it took about 4 months. What I can say is that it really felt like the recruitment team was trying their best to find me a project. Almost every week I got calls from them asking for details on specific experiences that they could share with potential clients, until finally of them worked out and I got a final client interview. Overall, the whole process feels very well structured and it really feels like they know what they're doing. In spite of all the testing and the lengthy process, I felt it was a very positive experience.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
A lot of questions regarding all relevant experiences. Some technical questions as well but nothing nonsensical like pure leetcode challenges that would only be passable by a fresh-out-of-college worker.

Interview
To begin the hiring process, you’ll first register on their website. The platform will then outline the tests you need to complete before proceeding to the actual interviews. These tests are tailored to the skills and programming languages you indicated during registration and include additional assessments on general behavior and logic, such as knowledge of the tech market, remote work tools, and basic logic & math.
The theoretical questions are primarily multiple choice, while the developer skill tests consist of challenges similar to those on platforms like HackerRank or LeetCode (at a medium to advanced level). During the interview process, you can expect questions that mirror those from the multiple-choice tests, as well as scenario-based questions to gauge how you would handle specific situations in a professional setting.

Math questions: combination & permutation, arithmetic, percentage, interests
