BairesDev Software Developer interview questions

You start by submitting your application and resume through the company's online portal. Then, the HR or recruitment team reviews your application to determine if your qualifications match the job requirements and call you to schedule an interview to get to know you. There are 2 interviews, in the first one the recruitment team talk about the company, then ask you everything related with your experience and expectations, they explain the hiring model and schedule a technical interview. In the second interview the recruiter may ask about your background, experience, and some questions about the technology required by the vacancy. After, they evaluate your interview results, and ask you to complete all the tests that the platform has related to your application. If your profile and experience fits the vacancy, they will present you an offer and if you accept it, the hiring process will proceed.

I applied to BairesDev a few years ago. Once in a while, I noticed the recruiter "Hiring Journey Specialist", needed to update your profile, even though there is no client interested in you. This last month one of them reached me, I'm currently happy with my position, so I declined. Also, I was not interested in completing more than 10 assessment tests and a few client interviews. The recruiter kept pushing it, saying that it was for an internal position, the recruiter pinged me around 4 times a week to complete four more tests that were needed for that position. After finally completing them, I got no answer for more than one week, and after that, the position was closed. So I'm wondering, was it a strategy to only complete those tests and complete the goal of updated profiles?
