The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Barclays in Jan 2010
Interview
Application then numerical and verbal tests online.
If you are succesful, the HR would contact you to schedule a phone interview.
Phone interview was pretty easy. The interviewer asked questions like introduce yourself, why did u choose ops, etc. Nothing particularly hard.
Assessment centre is the last round. The first stage was face to face interview with two interviewers. They questioned a wide range of questions like tell them about yourself, what you know about the company, and they would target questions based on your resume to find out more about you. So you should know your resume inside out. And general questions about the current economy.
Second stage is interview with the line managers. They would give u 15 mins to prioritise a list of 20 activities. Rank top 5. They are trying to test your prioritising skills and reasonings for these choices.
Last stage is a group activity. To build a 4 by 4 cube with same colors on each side. They are trying to see if you're a team player.
