The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Barclays (London, England) in Sep 2008
Interview
I had come across Barclays through milkround.com and decided to apply since it fitted perfectly with my career aspirations. The application took 2 days to complete after which i was invited for the Numerical Reasoning test and Verbal Reasoning. The test was difficult but i managed to get through. Then i was invited for an Assesment day. Where they first gave a presentation about the company and the role. Then we were taken into a room where we are asked to perform a group task, where they see how one interacts with others and how one takes others suggestions. After that a one on one interview was conducted where they asked questions like 1. Why Barclays? 2. Why this role? 3. Where do u see yourself 3 years down the line?4. Competency based questions like how did u react in such a situation?5. What are your salary expectations etc.

Question 1
who are our competitors and how can we outperform them?
I applied through college or university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Barclays in Nov 2009
Interview
Applied through my college career website and was contacted 3 weeks later that I have been chosen for a phone interview. The interview was of fair difficulty; a combination of standard questions and "personalized" questions towards my answers. The person I spoke to was very friendly and seemed enthusiastic about Barclays Capital. About 5 days later I was emailed and notified that I had been selected for final round interviews which consist of 3 30-min meetings.
