Online Interview. You are given a situation about an IPO and then they pose questions around that. It is nearer to the job compared to other online interviews in my opinion.
Overall not very difficult but if you haven't done an online interview before, I recommend practicing it before and also to hide the view of yourself as I found that very distracting.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What motivates you to work at Barclays?
Introduce yourself and mention how you can add value to the firm?
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Barclays (London, England) in Jan 2016
Interview
First you submit CV and CL through their website. Then you make a video interview (mainly situational/behavioural) and finally you are called for the assessment centre, which consists of a group work and 3 individual interviews. The questions at the assessment centre are both technical (for ex. what is a digital option?) and about yourself (for ex. tell me about a situation in which you missed the deadline and what did you do)
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
How would you explain a difficult concept in a clear way
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Barclays in Sep 2016
Interview
1) Online application, basic information about education/experience
2) Business insight 1 - Watch videos and answer situational judgement questions. They say it takes around 35 minutes - expect it to take 90+. The questions aren't too hard, it is just very long.
3) Business insight 2 - More situational judgement questions except this time you have to record the answers or write them down with a time limit.
4) Phone interview - 30 minute interview.
After this I think it's a day at an assessment centre.
