I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at BearingPoint (London, England) in Jul 2021
Interview
1. Online application and cover letter. 2.HR interview, which was just a formality. 3. Interview with two team members, within the interview i had to take an excel test. I passed through to the next stage, even though one of the team members kept cutting me off. 4. A GIA test 5. Another interview with 2 senior members of staff, one man was asking me about programming even though some of the languages he was talking about were not stated on the job description. The salary was only £33,500 for at least 1-2 year experience and programming knowledge, knowledge of BI tools and data quality.
I found the process very unorganized, maybe a reflection of the organization. I wasn't right for me
Thank you for your review and taking the time to provide feedback on our interview process. Our interview process is designed to ensure that not only do we recruit the right candidates for our organisation, but that the organisation is the right fit for the candidate. Our interview panels will occasionally ask questions outside of the job spec to explore additional strengths or areas for future development, but it is not expected that the candidate meet additional criteria in order to progress. We aim to have open discussions on feedback at each stage of the process, and we take all feedback received on board and continuously monitor and review our recruitment processes. We would welcome another discussion if you would like to discuss your interview experience in more detail. Thanks again for your feedback and we wish you all the best in your future career.
