I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Best Buy (Pensacola, FL) in Feb 2013
Interview
The first interview was with the department head during normal business hours. He described the job process and what was expected and asked about my education and professional experience, and about me as a person (figuring out what kind of personality I had). The second interview was with the store manager before the store opened. He wanted to know more about my background, and what I wanted out of the job. Overall, it was a very relaxed process. Both interviewers were polite and clear with their expectations.

I applied online. I interviewed at Best Buy (Houston, TX)
Interview
3 interviews in total.. seems a bit excessive and absurd for a retail position, not even a management position. First 2 interviews were in person and third interview was with GM
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Best Buy (Hartford, CT) in Dec 2019
Interview
Very Straightforward. I found it to be less intimidating than most other interviews I have been on. Be prepared to answer some basic questions about honesty and your tolerance for breaking the rules. Spoiler alert: There can be no tolerance for breaking rules or dishonesty in this position.

Question 1
What would you do if an associate took a pack of gum while working at the register and offered you a piece.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at Best Buy (Los Angeles, CA) in Jul 2018
Interview
Applied for a full-time position after being part-time for over a year, and felt that my manager who was doing the interview did not fully grasp the responsibilities and of Asset Protection. The answers they were looking for were not reflective of the realities of the job.

"If an associate continues to not perform their hourly shrink/safety walks, how would you go about getting them to do so?"
