I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Best Buy (New York, NY) in Jan 2016
Interview
Applied online and received a phone call shortly afterwards asking a few brief questions. Next you're called in for an in person interview. They'll ask pretty standard interview questions like "What's a time you had to deal with difficult customers" and you should probably know a couple of products that you'd "sell" to a potential customer.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Name three products from the department that you'd be interested in working in.
It was pretty short they ask some behavioral questions and then they call you right after. I had 2 interviews with 2 different managers the same day. I was then offered a job the same day.
The interview process involves screening applications, conducting initial phone interviews, holding in-person or virtual interviews, assessing candidates through tests or tasks, and making a final decision based on evaluations and references.
The manager I met with mostly asked about availability and relevant skills. They also asked some questions about how to handle various situations with clients. It was an easy interview for an entry level position.
