I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Best Buy (Washington, DC) in Oct 2015
Interview
We started with a phone interview, prior to being scheduled an interview with the Geek Squad manager. I was pleased with the ease of the process, and we stuck to the meat and potatoes, so to speak. Related exp. and customer service exp.
After these simple questions, the rep I spoke with put me in a time slot for a face to face before hire.

Question 1
Explain a situation when you had to de-escalate a tense situation and what the result was?
The first interview was pretty informal, more so of getting to know you. Then, it got deeper as to job expectations, pay, benefits, etc. It was pleasant and I didn’t feel stressed out.

Interview
Interview is fine. Video interview first (remember to submit it), followed by an in-person interview if they are interested. General questions IE why are you applying, do you have any prior experience working on a team, etc.
