Best Buy interview questions

pretty much like the other reviews said. you get a telephone interview, this is a brief 3 question interview "Why do you want to work for Best Buy?, "What 3 departments interest you the most?" forgot the third question. then if you pass the telephone interview they will tell you right there whether or not to come in for an in person interview. when you come in you will talk to a Hiring / Coordinating Manager who asks about 8 or 10 questions. "Name a time when you've had to deal with an irritated customer?" "Name a time when you had to work in a group to accomplish a goal" "Name a time when you had to learn how to do something without being taught how to?" "Describe the duties of your last job" "What makes you want to work at best buy?" "Name a time you had to work with someone you didnt get along with and how did you resolve it?" "Name a time when you've gone above and beyond for a customer" "With the ever going innovation of technology how do you keep up with it?" so after this interview they told me they'll call me on saturday to set up another interview if they feel like i am qualified. so the next day (friday) they called me in for an interview with the store manager on saturday i came in and met the GM (who i had a chance to meet during me 1st interview when he came into the office). he asked me a series of questions "Why do you want to work for Best Buy" "What were your main duties at your last Job?" "Did you do sales?" "Describe your ideal boss." "Describe your ideal work environment." "Where do you see yourself in a few years?" "What would your past boss say about you?" "If your past boss told you you needed improvement in something, what would that have been?" after these questions, he offered me a job. it was a good salary offer so i didnt negotiate and was just happy i got the job. told me i needed to do a drug test in the next 24 hours and then to bring proper paperwork when i get called in after the drug test. went well. i have a friend whos worked there for 4 years and is now a Lead, and he personally told the GM to hire me. (my second interview the GM walked in and asked me if i had a friend that worked there and i told him that i knew Pablo, and he said that he was told to hire me. so it helps.

They ask if you can meet goals. Give detail experience of previous jobs. Asked what was the good and the bad things of your previous jobs. What are your main features as a worker and what you could bring to the work place.
