I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Best Buy
Interview
I received a call about one week after the application was placed. The interview process consists of three meetings, first with a department supervisor, next with the Assistant Manager, and lastly with the General Manager. What I found they are looking for is someone who is sociable and and can provide the welcoming atmosphere they are looking for. Bottom line: No matter how painful a customer is, can you still smile and give them a good experience with the right solution.

I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Best Buy
Interview
Sent in my application online. Within a few days i was called to schedule an interview with the cashier team leader. I arrived about 10 minutes early and was lead into the break-room, where i waited for about another 10 minutes. The young woman who interviewed me was very nice and honest about what she was looking for. Later that evening she called me and said she decided to go with a more experienced candidate.
I applied online. The process took 8 weeks. I interviewed at Best Buy (Richfield, MN)
Interview
Contacted by recruiter. Had a positive phone interview regarding background and experience. Then had phone panel interview with 3 peer level employees. Asked behavioral type questions "explain a time when'. Two weeks later, flew to Richfield for a panel interview with 7 Best Buy employees, Director an above. The panel interview was painful but the questions asked are the same questions that are listed on glassdoor, so that helped. After the panel, several weeks went by then received email from recruiter to set up phone interview with hiring manager, who had some follow up questions regarding management and communication style. That interview was more friendly. Was told they would make a decision in a week. Never heard back. Finally emailed recruiter who said they offered the position to an internal. Overall, the process was pretty painful...
