Best Buy interview questions

There started off with a general phone interview to start the process, letting me know that there were positions available. It took approximately 10 minutes, consisting of a few generalized questions of my former work experience and setting up a time to come in for an interview. The in-person interview was short, focusing on my strengths as a salesperson. A few company questions were asked regarding honesty and theft. At the conclusion, I was asked which precise position I would apply for, since they would be interested in hiring me for only one of the 4 posted openings. I guessed right, which was a spot in the home theater department.

I was called in for an interview for the next day. I sat and interviewed with the PPM (Product Process Manager) and was hired after about a 30 minute interview. The interview was extremely easy, and questions were like: "If you saw a co-worker stealing...", etc...Took the drug test the day after, passed and began orientation thereafter. I was hired as Occasional/Seasonal but as long as you work hard, they will keep you as part/full time. I got full time after 4 months and another promotion 2 months later.
