I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Best Buy (Issaquah, WA) in May 2011
Interview
The interview was very dry and boring, he asks a series of questions and didn't even look at me. He just wrote on his piece of paper. I was trying to be funny and happy about it but he just took all the excitement out of the room and made it super awkward.
I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Best Buy (Colma, CA) in Sep 2009
Interview
The time i interviewed, they were hiring seasonal and the store was fairly new so they were hiring a lot.
It was a group interview with a bunch of kids. the hiring process was pretty easy. You can tell there were some people who didn't have a chance. Just be professional and say for than "I can lift boxes."

Question 1
Why do you want to work here? What makes you more qualified than the other candidates?
The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Best Buy in Jul 2011
Interview
After an initial telephone interview, the screener scheduled an on-site interview with HR and Logistics at this warehouse location. We discussed my background, credentials, work with individuals that have learning disabilities, computer programs, etc. . She was sufficiently impressed to arrange an interview with with the Director.
One weel later I met with this Director and Plant Manager for over an hour again reviewing my background and capabilities, supervisory experience, computer knowledge, ability to work in a non-climate coltrolled environment. I was told they would let me know next week.
As you suspect, next week came and went. I followed up with telephone calls and e-mails to HR and the Director without reply.
A major disappointment from this person's professional perspective.
