Best Buy interview questions

1. I applied for a sales associate position on the website and was called back the following week. The initial call was the phone interview. They basically asked what my availability was, what top 3 departments I wanted to work in and if I had any questions. The person then asked me if I was available to go for an in person interview the following week. 2. Upon reaching the store 15 minutes early. I was told to wait for the interview which started perfectly on time. The interview went incredibly great as it took an HOUR. This was only because I had a great time talking with the managers (I had 2 during the interview). Simply have a great PERSONALITY, be OUTGOING and actually CARE that you want this job! The questions were read off a booklet and my responses written down. I was then told that they would discuss my interview with the GM and that I would be contacted by next week for the next step. 3. I was called again the following week to meet with the GM. This time the interview lasted literally 20 minutes at the most as the GM used 3-4 questions to ask from the last interview (i guess he just wanted to hear for himself my responses). ** ALWAYS ASK QUESTIONS after they ask you if you have any questions? ** this helps you understand what your getting yourself into and the personality of your GM and fellow soon to be co-workers hopefully. FINALLY - I was offered the position in the Department I wanted and that I needed to take a drug test (take your drug test right away! so you can start orientation and eventually work ALREADY!
