Best Buy interview questions

I got an email from the Colorado/Wyoming project deployment supervisor. It sounded promising at first and I figured it would lead to a phone conversation. Instead it was a back-to-back email exchange, which seems highly unusual for a company like Best Buy. I was ultimately ghosted by the supervisor after he learned that I don't have direct product merchandising experience (even though I have very transferable skills). It was highly unprofessional to be ghosted after a back-to-back exchange via email. Where was HR in this situation?

They seem polite at first but have insane hiring requirements including an unnecessarily long interview process. After applying several times I made it to a third interview only to hear nothing back, even with a reference from a higher-up at the company.
