The candidate applies online then has to do a video interview on their cell phone or laptop if best buy likes the candidates resume. I clearly did not like the process because the candidate cannot go back and redo their video. I had to use my cell phone since I do not have a webcam. Best Buy gives the candidate about 2 minutes to think of what to say. However, Best Buy should not even bother giving candidates interviews if they are looking for 'experienced' associates in electronics. If the resume was not to Best Buy's standard, please do not waste the candidates time then on scheduling interviews.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Same questions like any other interview. Why do you want to work here? How would you sell this electronics to a customer? How do you respond to conflicts? How do you keep up with electronics knowledge?
I applied online. I interviewed at Best Buy (Victorville, CA) in Apr 2022
Interview
They called me to go to an interview I went, the manager was a bit late. I went to the back room for the interview, it went good. I go home, I got a email saying I didn’t get hired. I got a call from another manager for the same position and asked me if I wanted to interview. I explained to her I already got an email saying I didn’t get hired. She then asked if I wanted to do another interview. I didn’t even bother showing up. Just seemed like they were interviewing because they had to or something.

Question 1
What would you do if you see an employee stealing?
The interview was interesting, but I wasn't informed of the final result until several weeks later, which is a negative point. Otherwise, the questions were relevant and personalized. It took about twenty minutes.
