Interview
I applied online (the only way too now), and in about one weeks time I was called asking if I was still interested. On the phone I was given a ten minute questionnaire asking why I wanted the job and which department would fit me best. Then I was scheduled for another interview one week later. This interview started as a one on one with a kind woman who seemed interested in knowing why I wanted the job. The questions were generic (ex. 'Name three traits that best describe you and why'). Once all was said and done she congratulated me and said we will see you for the third interview with the general manger in one week. I was prepared and waiting in one week exact at the store; waited for the GM for about one hour past the time we scheduled for. Once we entered the room, he started right up with the questions. He was stern and didn't like small talk. He would grade your questions on a scale from 1-5 and based on the total numeric score at the end he would hire or lay you off. He often repeated or reworded questions too make sure you were confident and would always tell the same response. At one point he told me he was recording the conversation the entire time *Law Violation to not inform me before he started too*. After one hours time, the interview was over and I was told I would be placed into the Sales floor. Then I had to get a drug test and then I could start orientation.

Interview
There were three interviews- which shocked me for a big box store like this. All three were really relaxed. Once hired, the training is extensive, but involves a lot of those boring online videos.
