Best Buy Saled Associate interview questions

Best Buy does not seem to have hiring the best applicant for the position in mind, at least in my case. I am 55, have 30 years of excellent retail sales and management skills and was simply looking to sell a passion of mine; high end audio equipment in the Magnolia Room. The first interview was with a substitute for the store manager. He was cold but efficient and asked pertinent questions. I stressed my strengths and skill. I also spoke of my salary needs and was told that it is out of line for their structure. I agreed to aquiesce. I offered no resistance. I received a call for a second interview and returned to speak with a second in charge of the Tinley Park, Il store. That went fine as well. It was with the second in charge of the store; it seems the manager was perpetually on vacation? Hard to say really. I never heard back from them. I was truly shocked. It seems highly unlikely someone would be more prepared to roll up their sleeves and give great service than me.

Applied online, they got back to me within a couple of weeks. Had two interviews, was hired on the spot. Typical questions were asked, nothing that really stood out. The interview process is nothing to be worried about, just know answers to questions like, "When was a time you worked best as a team?"
