I applied online and was contacted by a recruiter within a week. The interview process consisted of two rounds: an initial phone screening followed by a virtual interview with the hiring manager.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The questions were mostly behavioral and role-related. I was asked about my previous experience, how I handle challenges at work, and how I approach problem-solving. Nothing overly technical or unexpected.
I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Best Buy (San Rafael, CA) in Jul 2024
Interview
I got a call scheduling the interview. When I got there I waited around 10 minutes in the break room, then I got called in. I was interviewed by one of the managers. Then they asked if I could do one more interview and I accepted. I went back to the break room, waited 5 minutes and when back in for my second interview. I was interviewed by the general manager at the time.

Question 1
I kinda forgot since it's been a while but they asked me "Why Best Buy?" which seems like a pretty average question most interviewers will ask.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Best Buy (New York, NY) in Mar 2023
Interview
The interview process typically begins with a brief phone screening to confirm your availability and basic qualifications. If that goes well, you’re invited for an in-person interview. The in-person meeting is usually straightforward and focused on your personality, reliability, and willingness to learn. In many cases, candidates are offered the position on the spot during the in-person interview if they make a good impression.
