I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Best Buy (Collegeville, PA) in Jan 2014
Interview
Phone interview from an HR representative was the first step. Next you go in for a face-to-face interview with either a department or store manager. Pretty typical interview questions for a retail environment(asking about working as a team, dealing with customers, problem-solving examples, etc.).

I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Best Buy (New Haven, CT) in May 2018
Interview
They bring you in to a room and ask you about your resume and background. Pretty straight forward. If
you interview experience this will be a breeze. The lady who interviewed me was very nice and she understood that it was an entry level job amd I wasnt going to have 10 years experience
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Best Buy (American Fork, UT) in Nov 2017
Interview
Very typical interview, pretty laid back for the most part. Totally depends on your attitude and work ethic vs experience. If you have good work ethic and at least a little bit of work experience (I had less than 3 months prior to being hired), but you show promise, they will probably give you a chance. Totally depends on your employer though.
