I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Best Buy (Lady Lake, FL) in Nov 2017
Interview
I applied to Best Buy twice; both applications took about a week before receiving a decision. The first time I applied, I received a call two or three days later asking for my availability, what salary I expect, and if there were any other positions I would be interested in. This information was forwarded to the hiring manager, and a few days later, my application was rejected. Three months later, I applied again for a seasonal position. This time, it took a week to get a phone call back, and the same questions were asked. My rejection came within 24 hours.
I applied in-person. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Best Buy
Interview
It was a hiring fair for the upcoming holiday season. As bad as the manger of the store ended up being he was a good interviewer. Didn't ask too many questions mainly gauged if you could hold a regular conversation.
