I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Bitmovin (Thornton, CO) in May 2019
Interview
Initial interview was with someone from HR I'm Austria over Google Hangouts, typical first interview. It went great! Felt like a very natural conversation. After that, that's when it started downhill. Second interview was scheduled with the wrong person and had to be rescheduled. Interview was scheduled with the correct person, but when it came time for the interview, I sat in the Google Video chat for 30mins and the interviewer never showed up. Emailed them afterwards and they stated that a conflict came up. Understandable, but the professional thing to do would've been to shoot a quick email to say you couldn't make it because something came up but nope. The interview was rescheduled again, took days to get it rescheduled, and it was with the same interviewer that didn't show up the last time. Came time for the 2nd rescheduled interview... and you guessed it! Sat in the Google Hangouts Video chat for another 30mins and the interviewer didn't show up again! Up until now I've heard nothing from HR or the interviewer! I've wasted I don't know how much time researching the company, preparing for interviews, going through their documentation, and sitting in Video Chats interviewing myself, I mean I'd hire me...
Update... Someone higher up in recruiting got involved and the Interviewer tried to place the blame on me for his unprofessionalism! Needless to say I never stood a chance getting an offer. Will never apply for a position at this company again and you should beware if you do. I'd take it as a sign that their company culture is terrible.
Technical challenge where you need to prove proficiency in any of code languages, in my case picked java. 2 hours to hands-on a code and 30 minutes to explain to seniors engineers.

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Bitmovin (Wien) in Mar 2023
Interview
I had two online interviews.
The first one was behavioral: I talked about my background, my projects, and the reasons I applied.
The interview is very relaxing and no stressful at all.
The second one was technical: I was given a few hours to implement a small library.
I had some difficulties in this last interview, but the interviewers were really understanding.
I think they appreciated the way I explained my thought process and the way I critically examined my solution, admitting its flaws and how it could have been better implemented. So I was given a second chance to finish the library.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Bitmovin in Mar 2022
Interview
The interview process consisted of multiple rounds, where I got to meet future team members and could always ask questions if I had any. Everyone was very nice and patient.
I always knew what the next step is going to be and how it will look like. The coding interview was an interesting insight of what my future tasks would look like, I also got an opportunity to reflect on the coding interview and also got useful feedback.
