I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Bitmovin in Mar 2025
Interview
I had two 45-minute interviews as part of the selection process. Both interviews were conducted remotely.
The first interview focused mainly on personal questions and discussing the projects and purpose of the internship. This was the first time the internships were designed as an incubator. It was a short session aimed at understanding my interests and how they aligned with the role.
The second interview was technical and conducted by the same engineering manager that did the first interview and a senior engineer. I was asked to solve a problem that was roughly a LeetCode Easy problem and write some unit tests for my solution. They did not have any limitations regarding the programming language or test framework. No development environment was provided, so I had to set it up myself during the 45-minute session, which added some pressure. Although I wasn’t able to fully complete the unit tests within the allotted time, I was still selected for the internship.
