I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Bloomberg (New York, NY) in Feb 2019
Interview
The 4-step interview process began with a 15-minute HR screening asking me about my interest in role, my salary expectations, and perhaps one other generic screening question. The second interview I had was with a member of the Global Data team, where he asked me probing questions based on my experience on my resume. Didn't get past this part, as I probably was not fully qualified, however, the next steps would have been a video interview with some HackerRank-like coding questions and some case study analysis and, lastly, an onsite visit with a few interviews with team leads and HR.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Bloomberg (New York, NY) in Dec 2017
Interview
They recruited me. There were many rounds of interviews, the process dragged for months. They scheduled the interviews for several hours stretching from the morning to the mid afternoon with no breaks and no lunch. At some point they told me they were finished with the interview process and that they were going to make an offer, and then they changed their mind and asked me to come back for yet another round. I already had some concerns about the position, but I after that I decided I definitely didn't want the job.

Question 1
I was asked several times to describe a situation where I had a conflict with a manager to the point where it made me wonder if they have a lot of conflicts in their department.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Bloomberg (New York, NY) in Dec 2016
Interview
There was couple of phone screens that they asked programming questions as well as some basic questions on machine learning. The interviewers were usually interested to know how much you are familiar with new trends in machine learning such as deep learning topics. After passing the phone screens successfully they invited me for onsite interview. I should say I find Bloomberg office very fancy and modern. I had first a presentation of my Ph.D. research followed up with 3-5 in person interview that they examined depth of my knowledge about programming, machine learning and general system design skills.
