Interview

A technical phone interview, then a technical onsite interview held in New York City. The interview questions are not hard. You can choose your favorite programming language during the interview. Onsite interview begins from 10:15am. Candidates first take a tour in the company building, and then follows a breakfast. The technical interview begins on 11:00am.

Applied Online, Got contacted by the recruiter 1 week later and scheduled for an on-campus interview. The interviewers were really friendly but the interview was focused entirely on programming questions.

Saw the posting on my college career services website, applied on Bloomberg's website. Was contacted about a month later and got a 45 minute phone interview. It was 2 technical questions about data structures, and then they asked if I had any questions about Bloomberg. First question was the difference between arrays and linked lists.

Second question was about using a hash table to store info about web history. Bloomberg seems to ask a lot about hash tables, probably due to their efficiency.
