I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Bloomberg (Hongkong) in Apr 2014
Interview
Group discussion for the first round. Then 1-to-1 interviews. From HR, then analysts, department head, and regional head. All Behavioral and situational questions. Something technical about the Chinese economy. Then that's pretty much. IT took around 1 month
First of all, you get some questions about Bloomberg by e-mail then phone interview followed by a group interview at Bloomberg. Group interview is demanding as it has no definite answers and you have to balance well when to stand up to talk and when not to. Most of the questions are case analysis questions that should be discussed among the group members.

Question 1
What is the culture at Bloomberg? How do you say "Football" in Chinese?
I was invited to phone interview. My interview lasted about 6 minutes. The interviewer was polite. She asked me to talk about myself and go through my cv. Then she asked few well known questions like: What do you know about the position? Why do you want to work for Bloomberg? Why did you choose the finance field? She also asked about my proficiency level in other foreign languages. I received the reply mail after one week saying they would not continue with my application further.
