I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Bloomberg (Anthisnes, Liege) in Dec 2012
Interview
Applied online, got a mail regarding a phone interview in approximately a month. First, we talked about the projects I had listed in my C.V. Interview consisted more in "trivia questions" such as
what is a pointer,
what operations can you do with pointers,
what is a static function in C
what is heap memory / stack memory & difference between them
then from OOP :
what is a class / object / instance?
what is a design pattern / final etiquette
Where are stored local vars?
Where are stored dynamically allocated vrs?
pass by value / pass by refference
what is "This" or "self" ?
Design patterns, where to use them

Question 1
Name as many differences as you can between a java abstract class and an interface. What is class forwarding and where do you use it?
Asked two leetcode mediums and why Bloomberg every round. Pretty straightforward and guide you through problems if you get stuck. Focus on explaining solution and arriving at an optimal solution. Three technical rounds, one HR, and one final hiring manager.
I applied online. I interviewed at Bloomberg (New York, NY)
Interview
I was interviewing for them, around 4-5 rounds, which could be scheduled in the same days based on their availability. No OAs so I love it! Real engineers will evaluate you. Coding --> HR chat --> Engineering manager. Long process but great and supportive interviewers.
