I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Bloomberg
Interview
Pen and paper interview, requiring the code you write to be as close as possible to a compilable c++ syntax. Follow up was running time/memory. Also was asked about a previous project that I had worked on.
Asked two leetcode mediums and why Bloomberg every round. Pretty straightforward and guide you through problems if you get stuck. Focus on explaining solution and arriving at an optimal solution. Three technical rounds, one HR, and one final hiring manager.
I applied online. I interviewed at Bloomberg (New York, NY)
Interview
I was interviewing for them, around 4-5 rounds, which could be scheduled in the same days based on their availability. No OAs so I love it! Real engineers will evaluate you. Coding --> HR chat --> Engineering manager. Long process but great and supportive interviewers.
