I believe I started with the hirevue sometime in late 2024 and I didn't hear anything back until January. Once January came around, I was contacted by a Bloomberg recruiter and she let me know that she would be assisting me with this process and providing mock interviews and other helpful resources. I would say my meeting with the recruiter was equivalent to a 2nd round.
Most recently, I attended the super day via zoom and it was a great experience, especially since it was my first one! There were 9 of us and it was about 4 hours long. At this point, it has now been over 4-5 months since I first put in my application so I made sure to lock in for the interview. My super day consisted of a demo and 1 hr interview with 2 team leaders (Analytics & sales]. I believe the interview went okay but I just found out today I will not be moving forward with the position but I am still optimistic and hopeful for the future!
My advice to anyone who sees this and is interviewing/interested in Bloomberg; Please please do your reasearch. Specifically pertaining to this role, it's a support role but you must have strong knowledge of the financial markets and how Bloomberg plays into that market. Don't be afraid to scratch past the surface level, show them that you care and you take time to outsource material. Also, know your terminology and how to use it correctly; it's very embarrassing to be asked to explain a term and you look visibly stumped.
Overall it was a lengthy process which is why I am pretty bummed I didn't get it but rejection is redirection! Good luck to anyone interviewing and make sure to review all resources provided!
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Give an example of a buy-side institution
Sales role-play , Analytics role-play
Short recruiter phone screen, then a 60 minute technical interview with a person from the team you're interviewing for. If you pass that, you'll get a full loop of interviews with a system design question.

Question 1
0/1 Knapsack problem, and a variant where you have a limit of 3 stones to choose from (which then becomes a 3sum variant)
Two coding interviews, medium to hard leet code difficulty
Didn't pass the second interview but it was great.
Supposedly there should be a system design interview after that followed by a hiring manager interview.
Team looks solid and will apply there again.
