I applied online. I interviewed at Bloomberg (London, England)
Interview
I applied online and got contacted by an HR representative. I had to submit 3-4 short essays on topics ranging from Why Bloomberg? What's your strength?, etc. Subsequently, I was asked to take quantitative and logical reasoning tests. I had a few basic phone interviews with them, and I was asked to visit the office. At this point, I had already decided to join a consulting firm, so I withdrew my application.
1 phone call and followed by a super day with 2 30 minute interviews. Process was fairly straightforward and the interview questions we're almost all behavioral. No prior finance experience is necessary, but it is important to know what is happening in terms of finance-related current events. Also know the difference between the Analytics department and the sales department at the company.
