Bloomberg Software Engineer (New Grad) interview questions

1. phone screen: validate binary search tree (lc 98 or something) + decode string 2. vo 1: word match (like "aapll"->"apple" based on the given dictionary) + binary tree vertical traversal 3. vo 2: tilt the marble norh - seems this coding problem is designed by the interviewer. I am convinced I came up with a solution with linear time complexity and write my codes, but he does not seem to understand my solution. Also he has strong accent.
