6 Stages for me:
1. Application on Bloomberg's Career website
2. Online video questions (no humans involved, just you answering questions in limited time to a camera).
3. HR's interview via phone
4. Video conference call (one's from sales, one's from analytics). Did this at my own place (Bloomberg didn't have their presence there).
5. Video conference call (with head of sales, another team leader). They flew me to their office.
Notes:
- Make sure to be extremely prepared to get questioned on things you've listed on your resume. If you've been in sales role before, you'll get asked; if you had a financial internship, you'll get asked.
- Have some knowledge on world news will greatly help with the video-recording interview and video conference interview later on.
I applied online. I interviewed at Bloomberg (London, England) in Jan 2017
Interview
First phone interview followed by online video submission. Made it to video conference with team in London. Interviewer seemed irritated because he couldnt get the sound on his part to work, and once he did he seemed like he was already done with me.

Question 1
Tell us about recent news that doesnt pertain to Donald Trump
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Bloomberg (London, England) in Jan 2017
Interview
Online Video Interview, Numerical Test, Shadowing and two interviews at office.
Overall process went quick.
Last interview was difficult and unwelcoming. I felt that they did not see me as a fit at all, even though I went through all other stages. I would have preferred this decision was made earlier, they knew my background. State clearly the reason that you are interested in finance, like you read books and news in spare time.
The job came across as a customer service with every day being contacted by clients for questions on how to work the Bloomberg system..
