I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Bloomberg (New York, NY) in Jan 2020
Interview
my first interviewer was very cold. he seemed to not want to be interviewing and didn’t seem to make an effort to make the interview conversational or engaging. he left me to have my lunch. they asked what kind of lunch i wanted ahead of time and even though there weren’t many options i figured i wouldn’t be hungry anyway. i requested the vegetarian option and figured i’d pick it apart to eat the vegan elements. it had bacon in it so i decided against eating it. my next interviewers were also quite hostile.

Interview
I was incredibly disappointed by this entire process, not because of the individual steps, but because of Bloomberg's failure to properly filter their applicants. I disclosed on my initial application that I had a potential HR-related conflict, but I was still moved forward through all rounds of interviews where I was reassured twice that my potential conflict "shouldn't be a problem at all." After my final interview, two weeks went by without an update, even after I reached out twice via email. I was finally contacted and told that they would not be able to extend an offer to me due to my conflict. I reached out afterwards for clarification, and received nothing in response. If this was such a deal-breaker, I'm not sure why I was selected to interview in the first place, and why this company's HR department didn't flag me at any point during the process. This oversight combined with a severe lack of communication throughout the interview process made my experience disappointing, frustrating, and quite frankly, a waste of my time.
İt is like classical google interviews. They ask you to solve two algorithm questions. One is easy and other one is medium leet code like questions. There are four steps.
