I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Bloomberg (Fords, NJ) in Jul 2020
Interview
The Interviewer calls you for a phone interview. It was supposed to be about 45 mins. It lasted only for about 25 mins. The person kept asking questions about the experience on the resume. Then later we jumped to the coding part which was a link in Hackerank. The person wasn't that helpful in giving hints or approaching the problem. However, my approach has a few flaws.

Question 1
It was a question based on a number line that consists of list-of-list concepts. For example, If you were given a sub list, it should return the sub-list combining the elements.
#Input [[1,3],[5,6],[2,4]]
# Output [[1,4],[5,6]]
# Input [[1,3],[5,6],[2,4],[6,7]]
# Output [[1,4],[5,7]]
First technical interview, interviewers were unhelpful and made it purposely difficult to get to the right answer. Not an enjoyable experience, put me off from wanting to work there. Will not apply again.
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Bloomberg
Interview
Did phone screen and passed, interviewer was very nice. Got onto on site, since it was during COVID, was video. The first interview consisted of 2 interviewers each asked me one technical question which were leetcode medium questions. I didn’t get the most optimal solution but they were still very nice and encouraged me to see if I could maybe try other ways to tackle the problem. The second interview was only a single person and he was not as nice as the first 2 interviewers however he seemed interested in talking with me so it was overall a very good experience.
