I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Bloomberg (New York, NY) in Dec 2019
Interview
Technical phone screen, 2 rounds of technical onsite. HackerRank for all three, though option to use whiteboard or paper was given at the onsite. Box lunch was provided, with vegetarian option. Overall, everyone was extremely kind and helpful, but I was walked out after the second round of technical interviews on-site, and a rejection email came the next day.

Applied online. Received email from HR about scheduling interview. No call, no previous experience check. Just automated email with link to calendar. Had call with "engineer" with 9 years of exprience (I feel pity for him. 9 years in same company, must be super ambitious in life)
