Bloomberg Software Developer interview questions

I applied online through the Bloomberg Careers service. I was contacted for a phone interview about 2-3 weeks later. The interviewer on the phone asked several technical questions on Java

Received an email to schedule an hour phone call interview. The interviewer called on time and was completely technical from the start. There are two coding questions as part of the interview and the interviewer also asked me to test the code, determine time complexity and improve the code. I solved them using efficient possible solutions and also answered all questions that were asked. Despite my efforts, I was not selected for next rounds of interview and the reason being "We chose other candidates over view".
